Medical disclaimer

CritterCalcs provides calculator tools and educational content for informational purposes only. The information provided on this site, including medication dosages, toxicity assessments, nutrition guidance, growth predictions, and health recommendations, is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Medication dosage calculators display standard dose ranges from published veterinary formularies. Your veterinarian may prescribe a different dose based on your pet's specific clinical situation, including factors such as kidney function, liver function, concurrent medications, body condition, and pre-existing conditions. Always confirm medication dosages with your treating veterinarian before administering any drug to your pet.

Toxicity assessment tools provide risk estimates based on published veterinary toxicology data. Individual animal sensitivity varies significantly. If your pet has ingested a potentially toxic substance, contact your veterinarian, emergency veterinary clinic, or animal poison helpline immediately. Do not rely solely on calculator output to determine whether veterinary attention is needed.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of all calculator formulas, dosage ranges, toxicity thresholds, and educational content. All calculators cite their published sources, and medical content is reviewed by a qualified veterinarian. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

Veterinary science evolves, and dosage recommendations, toxicity thresholds, and clinical guidelines may change. We review content regularly but cannot guarantee real-time updates. If you notice an error, please report it via the feedback form or email hello@crittercalcs.com.

The CritterCalcs name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Dan Dadovic. Calculator formulas are based on published veterinary sources as cited on each page. The underlying calculator code, educational content, breed database compilation, and design elements are protected by copyright.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CritterCalcs and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including but not limited to damages arising from medication dosing decisions, toxicity assessments, or any other health-related use of the calculators.

Third-party services

CritterCalcs uses Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Resend as described in our privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with the updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
